Alice (1998) Icons
Icons inspired by Czech filmmaker Jan Svankmajer’s interpretation of Alice in Wonderland. I wanted to create a set of icons that captured the fantastic and bizarre imagery, paying great attention to the stop-motion creatures that are portrayed throughout the film, persistant motifs, and key moments within the film. At the same time, inspiration was drawn from 1980s Czech graphic design, fusing uncanny portrayals and a handcrafted feeling to each icon.
